Légere Dance Centre strives for excellence in dance training while providing a creative and positive learning atmosphere. Our goal is to provide a professional dance education to students of all abilities and motivations. Classes will focus on technique, placement, flexibility, strength, and dramatic interpretation of music. Dance is a discipline of the mind and body. Our purpose is to focus the mind and develop the body in a positive manner. We aim to create an appreciation for this art form.

Although AIKIDO is the founding program for the Center, training programs are offered in Danzan Ryu Ju Jitsu, Shorin Ryu Karate, Tai Chi (Temple) and Kenpo. All programs offer classes for Adults and Teens and most offer classes for children.

Chenjiagou Taijiquan USA of Chicago offers instruction in traditional Chen Family Taijiquan (Tai Chi Chuan) in several locations in and around the Chicago area.

If you will be practicing with us, you will need to bring proof of vaccination against covid-19. Please show up a few minutes early to introduce yourself, sign a waiver, and to warm up. Bring sweats or other loose-fitting exercise clothing (and optional mask).

The CPS Department of Arts Education runs a number of districtwide arts programs that are open to all CPS students (from district-managed, charter, contract, and options schools). These programs provide greater equity and access to arts programming across the district and celebrate our students’ astonishing creativity, innovation, and talent.

We offer a 2 session free trial period. After that a membership of Chicago Tenri Judo Dojo and USA Judo are required.

Fun + Focus + Tumbling Fundamentals are combined to develop your champion's Motor Skills, Social Skills, and Self-Confidence. Athletic Wear is required. Avoid hard items in hair. Beads should not be able to reach eyes and must be covered with a bonnet for safety. Tumbling shoes or Tumbling socks are required for all participants. We sell grip socks like Skyzone for $5 or bring your own

Music, cooking, and arts education are offered at the KCCoC.

Truly awesome, unforgettable astronomy classes that are literally out of this world. Many fun, exciting STEM hands-on activities are done in each 45 min class. Our Virtual Astronomy & Space Academy has dozens of different topics about the universe.

MITY offers over 100 unique STEM, humanities and fine arts courses that are specifically designed to meet the needs of advanced learners. Classes cover topics not typically taught in schools within a fun and challenging environment.

The Children’s Village area will feature hands-on art experiences for children to create their own make-and-take art masterpieces. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sat. and Sun.

Experiment, build, and create as you explore STEM through hands-on projects. Activities include many areas of STEM: investigate electricity, build your own vehicle, experiment with chemical reactions, and design an earthquake-proof building. These are just some of the challenges we’ll dig into as we build creative problem solving skills through STEM. New experiments each session!

Dance and gymnastics classes are offered all year round, but swim classes are only offered during the summer.

There are a variety of classes offered which include academics, sports, arts&crafts, languages, and so much more. Lessons are adapted for students of all ages and all skill levels.

We offer virtual educational enrichment classes via ZOOM for children in 1st-6th grades, Monday through Friday, five days a week from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM PST.
