Second Saturday Garden Tours

Join fellow nature lovers for a guided tour of Lincoln Park Zoo’s diverse plant life and ecosystems. During each tour, a zoo horticulturist will point out interesting species in bloom, answer questions from guests, and discuss the horticulture program’s past, present, and future.

Things to Get Excited About:
- Spring flowering trees, like crabapples and redbuds
- Summer prairie flowers, like milkweed and rattlesnake master
- Hardy hibiscus and native hydrangea
- The fall colors of maple and gingko trees
- The faunal associations of pollinators, birds, and small mammals
