Laura Ward STEM Elementary School supports the educational commitment to effective teaching and learning in all classrooms by providing engaging learning opportunities, developing curricular integration of college and career readiness in students, continuous professional development opportunities for teachers, parental outreach programs and curriculum aligned with Common Core Standards and Next Generation Science Standards designed to positively impact student learning. All efforts are designed to develop trusting relationships and collaborative communities, improve practices that will lead to powerful teaching and learning in classrooms. At Laura Ward STEM School we are working to develop emerging professionals who are confident well-rounded, tech-savvy, creative, critical thinkers, and responsible citizens​​ in order to be productive members of society.
